Alon Gabbay Interview by Muscle-Base

How and why did you get into Bodybuilding?

I got into bodybuilding back in the days where I was skinny and I started lifting with a friend at home, I saw great results and ever since then I could not leave the weights out of my hands.

What workout routine would you suggest to Beginners?

I suggest a full body workout routine, carried out 3 times per week lasting for about 60 to 90 minutes each.

The three big compound movements such as Squats, Bench Press and Deadlifts should be included in the workout routine to maximize growth and strength gains.

What advice would you give to people looking to achieve your Aesthetic Physique?

EAT CLEAN! I can’t stress this enough, this is the most important aspect of achieving an Aesthetic Physique and will maximize your potential.

Do you have any plans to compete or go for fitness modeling in the near future?

No, I do not see any benefits in Competing.

As a Natural Bodybuilder, what are your views on Performance enhancing drugs?

I see them as a part of the Bodybuilding Sport for Professional heavyweight bodybuilders and it is definitely a must-have aspect. I don’t have anything against them, I’ve considered and researched Performance Enhancing drugs but later decided that they were not for me. I respect everyone who goes on a Steroid Cycle with precaution and does it wisely while training hard with a well planned out diet.

I do not respect those who just want quick gains and does not take proper actions in regards to the use of Steroids such as PCT, essential supplementation, training routine and diet.

How do you stay shredded all year round?

I have a very strict diet but it’s effective, you can check out my diet and bodybuilding tips at my official website.

What is your cutting diet like?

I’ve gone on a low carb diet and I absolutely love it! It works best for me and other diets such as Keto diet.

Do you have any advice or tips for others looking to cut?

Cutting is about the Calorie intake, worry more about the amount than everything else but of course, if you optimize both of them, you will get the best results. I recommend lowering carbohydrate intakes while eating high protein and fat to preserve as many gains as possible while making sure you eat less than what you burn.

What are your long term goals?

My long-term goal for myself is to bulk up to 90 – 95 kg (198 – 209 pounds) while keeping my body-fat percentage relatively low, my current body-fat percentage is 6%.
